Trestle table
This design takes inspiration from the trestle tables of the American arts and crafts movement with a few modern and unique elements thrown in.
The legs feature an elegant curve and Japanese style interlocking joinery. The piece pictured is made from English oak, a tree which had do come down on a residential block in Gippsland which featured some truly beautiful and unique grain.
The Trestle design is perfect for those wanting to have seats surrounding the table without the interference of legs.
Danish table
Scandinavian furniture design has been popular in recent years, and for good reason. It is beautifully simplistic and disregards embellishment to focus on pleasing ratios and angles.
This coffee table is my take on the Danish style table. The one pictured features a Messmate base with a Mountain Ash top.
This piece can be scaled up to any size to fit your use or room.
X Leg
This style table is similar in form and function to the Trestle design and features much of the same interlocking joinery. Just like with the Trestle design, the legs are centered on the table allowing seating to surround it without the interference of legs.
Pedestal Table
Why Have four legs when one will do. This is a sturdy table design which lends itself well to any shaped top.
